A GoCardless alternative that accepts card payments for direct debit, too
Looking for a GoCardless alternative in Australia? B2Bpay lets you set up direct debit and accept card payments, with free setup, free customisation and an Australian-based team. Here is how the two compare.
Is B2Bpay a good alternative to GoCardless?
Short answer: If you want to offer your customers card payments as well as bank account direct debit, yes. B2Bpay sets you up for free, includes a branded payment page and customer notifications at no extra cost, supports direct debit and phone payments, and earns you Qantas Points for getting paid. Support comes from an Australian-based team.
"We started using B2Bpay and love the Australian-based customer service! The set-up was simple, and entirely free. We now have a $0 cost to merchant option, and best of all we can now give our clients the option of card payments for direct debit."
Ben's "$0 cost to merchant" refers to passing the card fee on to customers. The RBA's surcharging rules changed on 1 October 2026, so the team will confirm the right set-up for your business. See fees below.
