Your questions answered

B2Bpay is a secure online payment platform for Australian businesses to make and receive payments while earning Qantas Points. Pay suppliers and the ATO by card even where cards are not accepted, keep your full card points, and convert B2B Points to Qantas Points 1:1.

How do you earn Qantas Points with B2Bpay?

Short answer: Pay your business bills through B2Bpay on the Earn Plus or Earn Max plan, earn B2B Points on every payment, and convert them to your Qantas Business Rewards account at 1 B2B Point = 1 Qantas Point. You keep your card's own points as well.

B2Bpay turns payments you already make into Qantas Points. Supplier invoices, BAS and PAYG, rent, insurance, utilities and telco all qualify, including payees that normally earn reduced or no card points.

Two things are required: a B2Bpay account on an Earn plan, and a Qantas Business Rewards membership for your ABN. The usual join fee is waived when you join through B2Bpay's link. Qantas Points earned via the Qantas pathway are credited by the 14th of the month after the payment. Learn more at Qantas Business Rewards.

Do I need Qantas Business Rewards membership?

Yes. Qantas Points for business can only be credited to a Qantas Business Rewards account, which needs an active ABN. The join fee is waived when you sign up through B2Bpay's link. Your registered ABN must be saved in your B2Bpay profile so points can be matched.

When do Qantas Points arrive?

B2B Points appear in your B2Bpay account 5 days after payment and can then be converted to Qantas Points. Points earned via the Qantas pathway are credited to your Qantas Business Rewards account by the 14th of the month following the payment.

Can I transfer business Qantas Points to my personal account?

Qantas Business Rewards lets members transfer points to an individual Qantas Frequent Flyer account under Qantas's terms, including a minimum balance. Check the current rules at Qantas Business Rewards and speak to your accountant about any tax implications. The business account must meet Qantas's minimum balance first.

I don't use Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks. Can I still use B2Bpay?

Yes. You can add payees and pay bills directly in B2Bpay, and the team can help you put a payment link on any invoice template. Integration simply saves data entry by loading bills and recording payments automatically. Your payment history can also be exported for manual recording.

Are there industries B2Bpay cannot service?

A small number of industries and payment types are excluded under card scheme rules, for example paying yourself or a related entity, or financing. The team confirms eligibility when you sign up. See what you cannot pay. Call 1300 205 575 if you are unsure before you sign up.
