There are lots of great ways to use Qantas Points to reinvest in your business. Some of the best are flights and upgrades, shopping and hotels.^ And there are many ways to earn points quickly, including sign-up bonuses on new credit cards.

Choose the right card

Your business can earn Qantas Points with a Qantas Business Rewards card. For example, the American Express® Qantas Business Rewards Card earns your business up to 1.25 Qantas Points for every $1 spent on business purchases.^^

A card with a generous welcome bonus for new Card Members is one of the quickest ways to build a balance. Welcome offers on the American Express Qantas Business Rewards Card are available to new American Express Card Members only; check American Express for the current offer and its terms.

Put your everyday business spend on the card and you could earn enough points for the rewards in this guide sooner than you think.

Earn more with B2Bpay

Adding B2Bpay helps you earn points even faster. Pay the ATO, suppliers, rent and other business bills through B2Bpay with your Qantas Points earning card, and you earn twice on the same payment:

  • Card points from your card issuer, because the charge is a purchase from B2Bpay.
  • B2Bpay points on top, which convert to Qantas Points. Current earn rates and plans are on Earn Qantas Points.
  • Points when you get paid. B2Bpay Billers can also earn points on eligible customer payments made through their B2Bpay payment link. See receiving payments.

Three ways to use Qantas Points to power your business

1. Premium flight seats and upgrades

Need to travel for business? If you have a large balance, redeeming points for travel for you or your team is one of the best ways to use them.

Example: fly Business Class on a Classic Flight Reward from Sydney to Auckland return for 83,000 points plus taxes, fees and carrier charges.~

A Classic Flight Reward is usually the best value way to redeem points for flights, so keep an eye on the Qantas website for reward seats.

If you have bought flights with cash, Classic Flight Rewards or Points Plus Pay, you can also use your business's points to upgrade your seat with a Classic Upgrade Reward.

Example: upgrade an Economy flight bought with cash from Sydney to Auckland to Business Class for 21,800 points plus taxes and fees.`

2. Shop online

From tech and gadgets to Australian-made products and gift cards, Qantas Marketplace has plenty of options that make shopping for your business easier.

You can also earn 3 Qantas Points per $1 spent on Qantas Marketplace, so if something is outside your points budget, buying it still adds points to your business balance.

Example: a 10.2-inch iPad (9th generation) Wi-Fi 64GB on Qantas Marketplace for 100,550 points.±

3. 5-star comfort in luxury hotels

Qantas also offers hotel deals that can be booked with points. You can book a hotel on its own, or a flight and hotel bundle through Qantas Holidays. Bundles that include flights cost more points, but there are still short-haul and domestic options for less than 160,000 points.

With more points you can stack bundles to extend your stay, or add flights to your hotel booking.

Example: a two-night stay at The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore for 147,936 points.#
